Focusing on pivotal legislative frameworks, such as the Interoperable Europe Act and the AI Act. The discussion will highlight how these frameworks foster enhanced data sharing, AI-driven decision-making, and cross-border collaboration, setting the stage for the evolution of public services.

LDT CitiVerse EDIC and Data EDIH, as key initiatives, will be examined to showcase how these programs are shaping the future of digital public services. In this general scheme, the implementation of data spaces and the increasing awareness on data protection (in particular personal data) are adding new pieces to the complex puzzle of public sector innovation, moving from local-level impacts, driven by cities and municipalities, to the central government one. improving service delivery, and promoting citizen-centric governance in a rapidly evolving digital landscape,
