Serendipity is an independent broker between business and government that secures technology sovereignty for cities and citizens. The company is small and agile, with a network of global minds and makers who are game changers in their field of expertise. 

Serendipity has a background in digitalization within Europe and has delivered the project management in the Digital Transition of the Urban Agenda for the EU.

Additionally, the company is leading the technical coordination of the H2020 research and innovation consortium FlyingForward2020 on the development of Urban Air Mobility within cities and communities, and is part of a circular neighborhood cluster to develop circular neighborhoods in The Netherlands and California. Serendipity delivered the project management in the partnership Digital Transition of the Urban Agenda for the EU which is input for the MFF on behalf of the city of Eindhoven (2017-2019) and VNG (2019 - 2020). 

Within this partnership (coordinated by Oulu, Estonia and Sofia) the main focus points of the Digital Europe programme were formed (such as upscaling programme, digital services for Europe). This integrated into the movement LI.EU. Responsible, on behalf of the VNG, for the marketing development of the upscaling coalition Join, Boost Sustain (www.living-in.eu) (2019-2020).
