Interuniversitair Micro-Electronica Centrum
IMEC is a not-for-profit research and technology organization based in Belgium that focuses on microelectronics, nanoelectronics, and digital technologies. The organization has a long history of working in smart cities and data spaces and has developed a range of advanced technologies and solutions designed to support the development and deployment of these technologies. One of the main areas of focus for IMEC in this field is the development of data management and analysis technologies, including local data platforms and advanced data analytics tools and techniques. In addition to its work in data management and analysis, IMEC has also been involved in the development of technologies and solutions related to other areas of smart cities and data spaces, such as energy management, transportation, and public safety.

In this project the Imec SMIT team will be participating. They conduct innovation management projects that maximise the value delivered to the project's stakeholders by testing and co-developing innovative solutions with their target audience by peforming social, market and policy-oriented research.
