Data Spaces Symposium 2024 A Huge Success

The Darmstadtium in the Frankfurt Region buzzed with excitement March 12-14th as the Data Spaces Symposium took place. Many thanks to the European Data Space for Smart Communities consortium members for their invaluable contributions to this triumphant three-day event. Special mentions to Anna Beyer, Clara Pezuela, Chandra Challagonda, Elisabeth Beck Knudsen, and Nuria de Lama, among others.

With nearly 1000 attendees from across the globe, the Data Spaces Symposium (DSS) surpassed all expectations. It provided a dynamic platform for the exchange of ideas, insights, and networking opportunities, focusing on cutting-edge technologies like Digital Twins integrated into Data Spaces.

Beyond knowledge dissemination, the Symposium laid the foundation for future partnerships spanning the public sector to businesses, fostering collaboration within the realm of data spaces.

A significant highlight was the unveiling of the eagerly anticipated DSSC Blueprint version 1.0 by the DSSC Consortium, marking a pivotal moment in innovation and efficiency.

Projects under the Digital Europe Programme, including DSSC and SIMPL, aim to assess outcomes and identify areas for improvement, driving continuous enhancement and innovation within the EU.

Guided by the co-creation method, data space initiators can efficiently set up blueprints aligned with maturity levels, facilitating agile implementation.

Thank you to the organizers of the Data Spaces Symposium. Let's pave the way for a data-driven future together!
