What are the capacity building needs of the data space community? Survey results

In February-March 2023 DS4SSCC conducted an online survey to gather information on capacity building needs related to the establishment of a data space for smart and sustainable cities and communities. The survey captured responses from 85 stakeholders: have a look at the results here below.

When asked about the topics of interest related to the Data Space for Smart and Sustainable Cities and Communities, the majority of respondents (70 preferences) expressed their interest in data services, including AI-enabled data services. Cross-sector and cross-community topics were equally popular among the respondents with 54 preferences each, while only 4 preferences were allocated to other topics.

DS4SSCC will coordinate the development of short-term training initiatives for mutual learning and skills development for public managers and practitioners.

The objective is to create a knowledge hub serving different EU initiatives, by involving data space communities in shaping the contents based on their specific needs and interests and providing accelerated access to knowledge on cross-sector, cross-community, data services, including AI-enabled data services.
